MediFlow is a smart nursing cart developed to optimize the movement of medical staff within hospitals and improve overall work efficiency. In conventional ward environments, nurses must constantly move back and forth between the nurses’ station and patient rooms to collect and transport the supplies needed for treatment. These repetitive movements not only increase the physical fatigue of medical staff but also reduce the time they can devote to patient care.

To address these on-site inconveniences, MediFlow introduces an advanced user-following system. The cart detects the movement of medical staff in real time and automatically follows them while maintaining a safe distance. This allows nurses to keep essential supplies within easy reach at all times while performing their duties. As there is no need to manually push a heavy cart, the physical burden on medical staff is significantly reduced.

The top section of the product provides a spacious work surface designed based on a close analysis of actual nursing workflows and the frequency of supply usage, enabling efficient treatment preparation and medication handling. The lower section adopts a drawer-type storage structure that allows various medical consumables to be systematically organized. Durability and stability have also been carefully considered to prevent items from spilling or shifting during movement.

An interactive display located on the front of the cart intuitively presents patient information, current task status, and real-time inventory data. In particular, the smart inventory management function automatically identifies the quantity and location of stored items, reducing unnecessary administrative time spent searching for supplies or checking stock levels, while greatly improving work accuracy.

MediFlow is an integrated system that organically combines mobility, storage, and information management functions. By serving as a supportive pacemaker that reduces the workload of medical staff, it ultimately contributes to the realization of high-quality, patient-centered smart healthcare services.
