Philips’ sustainable packaging platform redefines how a major brand approaches packaging, making sustainability a standard across its entire product portfolio rather than a niche line. Each box is crafted from 100% recycled, recyclable paper with 65% less ink, eliminating plastics and reducing environmental impact at every stage.
Printed directly onto kraft paper, the natural brown substrate radiates eco-friendliness while maintaining strong shelf appeal. Each panel tells a story: product hero on the front, features on the side, sustainability commitment clearly highlighted, brand heritage at the top, and detailed product reassurance at the back.
Beyond materials, the redesign improves efficiency. Universal global packs reduce complexity and optimize supply chain flexibility, while smaller packaging sizes enhance pallet loading and transportation, saving space and energy. Inside, plastic bags are replaced with paper, and printed manuals are reduced through a QR-enabled digital journey offering setup guidance, videos, and tips.
