We created a bedside light experience designed to improve sleep and overall wellbeing, inspired by nature and crafted using biophilic principles. Twilight enables users to sleep and wake up feeling refreshed through simulated sunsets and sunrises. Its innovative ColorCast technology projects immersive gradient light, mimicking six sunlight scenes or transitioning into a soothing sunset that gradually fades to ultra-dim light or total darkness. Additionally, Twilight can control an entire bedroom’s lighting ecosystem, including other Philips Hue lights, with a simple touch of a button.
Twilight’s design emphasizes sustainability, using carefully selected materials engineered to make optimal use of their natural properties. It avoids paints and permanent bonds, enhancing recyclability. As part of the Philips Hue ecosystem, Twilight offers customization, automation, and integration options, making it adaptable to individual preferences. The product acknowledges the crucial connection between light, sleep, and wellbeing, addressing the challenge many people face in applying this knowledge to their routines. The bedroom, where light directly impacts sleep quality, becomes an ideal space for Twilight to help users achieve restful nights and energized mornings.
