HALF 911 is a lightweight, ground-supported device designed to reduce the physical strain firefighters face when using 2.5-inch fire hoses. It addresses challenges such as nozzle recoil and musculoskeletal strain, improving safety and efficiency during firefighting operations. The device uses an arch-shaped support system that evenly distributes weight and stabilizes the hose, significantly reducing fatigue and manpower requirements. The clamp-locking mechanism secures the hose in place, while a lever and rope tension system maintains stability and allows flexible movement along the hose. The low-profile design enables better control over nozzle direction and reduces the effort needed to manage recoil forces. Grooved rubber on the footrest ensures a strong grip on the ground. Made from durable materials like PC-ABS and stainless steel, HALF 911 weighs 6.5 kg and is compact for easy storage. Its seamless, ergonomic design prevents snagging and enhances usability, allowing firefighters to quickly deploy and adjust the hose as needed. HALF 911 provides a practical, cost-effective solution to firefighter safety, combining ease of use with improved performance. By reducing physical strain and simplifying hose operation, it enhances firefighting efficiency and addresses the critical issue of firefighter fatigue.
