This project is a suburb villa in Shanghai, the theme is new Chinese style, citing elements of traditional Chinese window grilles in the interior design innovation, not only to meet the practicality of the design, but also rich the cultural connotation of the design. Window grilles: China building contains many different architectural concepts, by extracting Chinese architectural element of window grilles as the main imagery of the interior space design, which is the essence of the design of the project. Window grilles is a unique form of art that reflects and spreads the Chinese traditional culture, and plays an important role in the style and function of interior design. Definition: the function of the window grilles in the interior space is space defined instead of decoration, such selecting empty the living room and dining room, two side approximately 6.5 meters high window grills as a background walls were designed, and the background walls also define the space. It defines the living room and bedroom into two spaces, and aslo defines the restaurant and western kitchen into two functional areas. While it defines of space,it also keeps the visual sense of transparency of the different regions.
