Amper is an in-ear monitor set that allows musicians to control what and how they hear. The product adds additional benefits to the experience beyond solely providing protection, which encourages young musicians to use Amper to protect their hearing during performances and rehearsals. Through the use of a gesture-based touchscreen, the musician can adjust the volume of each instrument that is fed through their in-ear monitor to customize the rehearsal experience. The product removes the need for a dedicated audio engineer that controls the band’s audio feedback, transferring that control directly to the musician. The touchscreen works as an audio visualizer; the artist can set a pattern to animate along with the played music, visually enhancing the performance. Amper also creates a virtual environment where songs can be recorded, edited and replayed at any time.
