Caro and Micaro are companion robots designed to ease loneliness and provide emotional support for children. While animal-assisted therapy offers significant benefits, allergies and other constraints often make it inaccessible. Caro keeps children engaged at home with activities like reading, using expressive eyes and ears to convey emotional feedback. On the go, Micaro detaches to become a portable companion, ensuring continuous support. Drawing inspiration from nature, Caro’s biomimetic design exudes warmth and familiarity, fostering strong emotional connections. Micaro complements this by incorporating interactive features, such as color changes and tactile responses that reflect emotions, creating a playful and comforting experience for children.
