First impressions matter, especially in the world of elite sports, where every detail counts. Gatorade, the world’s number one sports hydration drink, recently introduced the Gatorade Athlete Welcome Kit to better connect with its global ambassadors. Our challenge was to design a premium, cohesive gift that enhances an athletes’ welcome experience and reinforces a sense of community. Our Global Beverage team blended the brand's iconic style with subtle sports-inspired touches for a powerful first impression. The Gatorade Athlete Welcome Kit emerged from a need for a consistent and impactful way to welcome brand ambassadors. Our mission was to elevate our first impression to a new level, leveraging the brand’s equity items like bottles and towels in a premium, personalized manner. We knew our kit should showcase Gatorade and just how much Gatorade values its athletes. Our strategy was to ensure that they felt like part of the team, to build a strong sense of loyalty. By making athletes part of a bigger community, Gatorade stands out in a competitive market and fosters lasting connections.
