The BIG JAMBOX by Jawbone is the purest expression of the Jawbone design ethos. While it is modeled after its predecessor JAMBOX, BIG JAMBOX has a refined construction and distinguished design that help to set it apart, pushing the boundaries of materials, manufacturing and form to the next level. Every aspect of BIG JAMBOX’s design contributes to maximizing the acoustic performance while minimizing unnecessary obstructions. A single sheet of perforated metal wraps the front, top, back, and underside of BIG JAMBOX, creating a lightweight, tactile design and an extremely portable product. A series of patented dot, hex and wave textures on the metal grill provide a visual playfulness when the light catches and defines the subtle relief. The seamless edge-to-edge transitions of the perforated steel require considerable manufacturing innovations, resulting in a proprietary process that pushes the boundaries of art and engineering. The thin elastomer edges frame the openness of the metal, and integrate an on/off button with an LED, a pairing button and charging/line-in input connectors within its surface. The same material is used on the top of BIG JAMBOX for easy-to-identify wireless controls (play/pause, track change, volume) that are sized and spaced for quick and easy use. On the underside, eight rubber feet isolate BIG JAMBOX from vibrations and ensure it stays firmly in place. Like all Jawbone products, BIG JAMBOX is a technological powerhouse, while also being a versatile lifestyle accessory. BIG JAMBOX is completely wireless, conveniently connecting to phones, computers and tablets through Bluetooth. BIG JAMBOX is available in three different colors and textures to ensure that anyone can find the perfect fit for their office conference room, dinner party or backyard BBQ.
