City Bee is a product with an identity aimed at providing a friendly environment for solitary bees living in the city, infusing vitality into the city, and ultimately forming a green infrastructure. Currently, efforts are being made worldwide to protect and proliferate the Solitary Bee. However, despite these efforts, there is a lack of awareness about the solitary bee and people’s negative perceptions about bees, making it difficult to create a space that can protect bees. Therefore, City Bee has been designed to create an environment where bees in the city can rest, and at the same time, an environment where coexistence with people in the city is possible. Through this, bees will have a wider range of activities in the city, and the city will aim for a future where flowers and plants thrive and the city is full of vitality. The design task had to be a modular structure that could accommodate more than 200 kinds of Solitary Bees. It also had to have a simple assembly and disassembly format so that it could be installed in large quantities. At the same time, it had to be safe and familiar to people when installed in the city.
