EWise is a user-friendly app designed to make e-waste management simple, efficient, and accessible, while fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. Through a streamlined interface, users can upload a photo of their unwanted electronics, and the app’s advanced AI technology quickly performs a thorough refurbishment check to assess the item’s condition and functionality. Based on the results, EWise provides users with three responsible disposal options: resale, donation, or recycling. For resale, EWise automatically lists suitable items on the app marketplace, setting a fair market price to encourage sustainable repurposing. For donation, local centers and nonprofit organizations are suggested, making it convenient for users to contribute positively to their community. When recycling is necessary, EWise guides users to certified, eco-friendly recyclers, ensuring safe and responsible processing that minimizes environmental harm. Additionally, EWise allows users to track their cumulative environmental impact in real time, displaying metrics like the total amount of e-waste diverted from landfills and CO2 emissions reduced. Users earn reward points for reaching recycling milestones, providing an incentive for continued eco-conscious behavior. By offering comprehensive, easy-to-use features, EWise empowers users to handle electronic waste responsibly, contributing to a greener, more sustainable planet.
