Synapse is a non-face-to-face language rehabilitation app that can be implemented on mobile for stroke patients to quickly return to society. As the age of stroke disease decreases in Korea, the problem of rehabilitation of patients is emerging as a social problem. There are three problems with the existing language rehabilitation treatment system in Korea. First, the current cost of language rehabilitation treatment in Korea is around 37.81 USD per session, which is burdensome to receive repeatedly. Second, conventional simple memorization treatment lowers the patient's willingness to treat. Third, the patient's condition is not sufficiently shared with the guardian. Synapse provides three solutions to these three problems. First, it provides easy access to speech rehabilitation at home. Second, it provides a game-style rehabilitation program away from the existing simple memorization rehabilitation. Finally, the app provides monthly treatment reports. We hope that when stroke patients try to come back into society, the financial situation and residential area will not be an obstacle. Synapses support all stroke patients to re-enter society with equal opportunities.
