Due to overdose of drug addicts worldwide, the mortality rate quadrupled between 2016 and five years, emerging as a serious social problem. There is a lack of professional systems and manpower for continuously treating drug addicts under serious circumstances. In oriental medicine, ACU BAND, a wearable device that combines acupuncture and modern electronic needle technology, is expected to reduce the number of drug addicts and the drug crime rate/recidivism rate as it can be prescribed by a doctor and easily treated at home. It has a positive effect on improving work productivity, such as physical and mental, after acupuncture.
