As the “national beauty”, poeny is overwhelming by its grace and charm. Down the ages, poeny has always been the theme in the Chinese painting, and shows up concretely or abstractly in architecture, ornamentation and weaving. The inspiration came from the ornamental brocade of Ming and Qing dynasty. The strokes feature the double-line design of branches of poeny to connect the flower and leaves, which together form the basic glyph with magnificence and grace.
