JamJam is a modular play kit and customizable storage box designed for low-income parents expecting a baby. For these parents, affording basic necessities is already challenging, making it even harder to buy toys that support their baby's cognitive development. To address this, we designed the product with versatility in mind. Each object serves multiple purposes: a puzzle cube can become a mobile, a sensory toy can become a teether, and so on. The packaging is also designed for multipurpose use. By pulling up the handle on the bottom of the box, it transforms into a storage box, eliminating the need to discard it after receiving the product. Additionally, the lid of the box can be used as a divider by utilizing the easy strip method.
