As westernized high calorie eating cultures, development of technology and comfortable lifestyles have settled, people living in the busy modern society are facing lack of exercise leading to a problem not only for individuals but for the whole society. According to a survey on perception of obesity and diet in Korea, 89.9% of the total surveyors tried controlling their food intake (starving or eating half portions) and 86.9% tried losing weight by exercising (ref. http://www.trendmonitor.co.kr). The people who exercised replied that it was difficult to continue exercising regularly because they would lose motivation of boredom. For the people who controlled their eating couldn’t refrain from starvation which led to binge eating—also losing motivation and will. This product is a wearable fitness earphone that can increase the effectiveness of exercising by using supplementary alternative therapies that can effectively stimulate acupressure points on specific parts of the ear to delay binge eating and hunger while listening to music at the same time. The earphone method works by bone conduction and generates appropriate vibration by the melody’s intensity. The appearance of the product has an elegant organic form of an atypical curve flowing and covering the surrounding of the ear with hidden magnetic fasteners.
