Filtainer® is the newest version of container for the Kantian Arsenic Filter (KAF) which is a household drinking water treatment device for the developing countries for removing arsenic, pathogens, iron, turbidity, odour, and other contaminants from drinking water. In fact, all of these unfavourable substances, in particular arsenic, commonly exist in the ground-water of many countries. Minimal-cost and non-gimmick form are two key design objectives of Filtainer®. Filtainer® includes six (minimal) components: body, lid, lid-cap, basin, buffer-plate, and Clogfree Flow Regulator®. All parts can be produced by simple and low-cost moulding methods. Filtainer® is the newest design for containing the KAF filtering substances. It has critical breakthroughs in design that it ensures safe, effective and efficient water filtering.
