Pill Time is a system of 3 products that helps elderly patients consume their medications punctually and accurately. Many elderly take as many as 12-20 pills at different times throughout the day. Remembering when to take the pills is often very difficult. Prescription medication noncompliance is the cause of many unnecessary hospitalizations and deaths. The current products are inadequate, confusing, and unsuitable for many patients. The Pill Time Management System concept is comprised of three products: pill bottle, personal medication assistant, and loading station. The designs have cozy styling and minimum features to suit the needs of elder patients. The slightly shaded body does not glare or get dirty easily, while still providing adequate contrast. The system loads the pills for the patients, reminds them to take their medication, and has a safety lock to prevent accidental overdose.
