Lying, moving, and bowel movements are the fundamental tasks for human being including wheelchair users. It’s a laborious task for wheelchair users when transferred from a wheelchair to a bed and the other way around as well. It is even harder for weak people such as senior or women to care for patients who are not able to move by themselves. Ablechair is designed to allow those people to be able to transfer between a wheelchair and a bed by themselves. If the wheelchair is pulled over by the bed, it automatically flattens its body and adjusts level to the bed by recognizing each other. Upper body is detached from the lower parts and slides into the bed along the rails of the bed. Ablechair users have more chances of rehabilitation without being helped as they are able to move around by themselves.
