Inspired by the brute lines of the iconic Australian speed machine, the 1960s HK Monaro, the A-HSV presents an alternative mode of transport for travel between cities. It will travel between Sydney and Melbourne at 400 km per hour, arriving in under three hours. One of the design strategies was to attract media attention and raise public awareness. It was featured on the front page of every major daily and all over YouTube, and introduced a new mental model for Australian travelers.
