Butter-Fly Camera Design Type: Product, electronics Designer: Minhoo Joh Organization: Samsung Art & Design Institute Professor: Purpose: A digital camera with a built-in tripod and grip, the Butter-fly Camera’s design was inspired by the difficulty of taking self-portraits, and grew to solving a wider range of camera -stabilization and image -taking needs. The legs of the tripod can be spread wide to function as a tripod, pulled together to create a grip for the photographer’s hand, or folded into the body of the camera.
