The SCOUT (Satellite Communications Operational Toolkit) combines several well-established technologies, developed for military satellite communications operators, into one sleek, rugged design package. It is controlled by the intuitive Apple iPhone. SCOUT replaces several pieces of expensive equipment weighing more than 100 pounds with one neatly-designed seven-pound box. Furthermore, SCOUT simplifies highly technical operations, which drastically reduces the level of training an operator requires to conduct typical SATCOM tasks.
