The assignment was to design an integrated building and landscape that addressed the ecological and economic systems of the site and its context. This project proposed a building that would function as a catalyst for volunteer organizations, cooperative groups, service forums, and employment readiness programs through linear, full width, leased spaces that connect the urban fabric of the city with the waterfront below.
