Lota Agua is a low cost, collapsible shower powered by gravity designed for communities lacking running water. As the user steps on the bucket, designed as a collapsable bellows, gravity and body weight provide pressure, pushing the water up through the shower head. Lota Agua incorporates the reuse of grey water to irrigate the garden when using biodegradable soap. The year long project was in response to the 2010 earthquake in Lota, Chile.
