The Orion-18 is the first smart phone engineered and designed specifically for the blind user. The blind community has the same needs and aspirations as sighted people but is hampered by a shortage of personal electronic devices appropriate for their specific needs. The Orion-18 leverages innovative assistive technology to bring the world of personal connectivity to the blind consumer, through a cell phone, text reader, Braille display, GPS, and MP3 player, all in one integrated, compact unit.
