Client: 826 Valencia Project Team: Creative Direction:; Adam Brodsley, Eric Heiman Art Direction: Adam Brodsley Design: Bryan Bindloss, Brice McGowen Development: Matt Glaser / Squonk Studios This (redesigned) website is the online arm of the nonprofit tutoring center 826 Valencia's retail storefront Pirate Supply Store, selling everything from lard to glass eyeballs. Created for the "discerning pirate", the design translates the fun, offbeat, and engaging atmosphere of the physical store to the e-commerce environment. The amazingly robust content management system allows the Pirate Supply Store staff to easily (read: no web programming skills needed) customize and enrich the homepage slideshow, product displays, and blog entries.
