Bringing innovation to traditional segments, like the audiophile market, requires clear demonstration of compelling benefits; 20/20 seeks to present digital audio as the future of high performance personal audio. TENSEGRITY Tensegrity, a concept brought to the masses by Buckminster R. Fuller, is a structure that balances elements in tensions and compression to provide strength and flexibility. Harmony and tensegrity adhere to the same basic principles: contrasting parts ordered to create a balanced system. The unique demands of audio hardware are a perfect fit for this structure. 20/20 leverages the unique properties of tensegrity to offer silent, organic motion. AUDIO SYSTEM Unlike portable media devices, 20/20 offers an uncompromised music experience with dedicated headphones and amp. 20/20 takes full advantage of the iOS features to interface with external hardware. The rich touch interface of iPhone gathers all user settings, eliminating volume, gain and balance controls from the amp itself. The amplifier proposes using this power to allow real time calibration of sound processing algorithms, achieving greater realism in the virtual surround sound space and a more immersive music experience. Using a dedicated app, 20/20 personalizes individual calibration through a series of test tones in 3D space. Once set, these adjustments create a level of accuracy that can then, be applied to all audio sources. Fusing algorithms, amplifier and digital customization, 20/20 delivers the ultimate audio experience: sound that’s as accurate as it is natural.
