The design of Terminal 4 explores water as resource. The use of filtered rainwater to nourish the interior landscaping, washing of equipment, use in the air conditioning system, restroom use and all other non-potable uses reduces energy consumption and use of water. However, the real opportunity is to integrate these systems within the architectural experience. This building responds to the weather conditions outside, and creates an experience of the senses whenever it rains.
