An open-air Pedestrian Bridge Prototype that replaces seven existing bridges and connects parking garages to the airline terminals. The modular Prototype’s design implements resilient materiality, sustainable practices, topology optimization and visual clarity reinforcing the newly defined airport design guidelines, which mandate excellence of a quantitative and qualitative nature. The combination of structural ingenuity and architectural simplicity yields a welcoming gateway to the West Coast and a premium travel experience.
