‘Fresh Dot’ is transparent plastic wrap that helps blind people know the extent of food decay. The blind can’t readily know information about the condition of food wrapped in plastic. But, if they use this product called ‘Fresh Dot’, when the food begins to decay, the dots on the wrap inflate and turn opaque. It is meaningful since visually impaired people can know the condition of food through tactile information rather than visual information. Because blind people will be able to know the condition of food easily and fast through tactile sensation, this will provide them with convenience in the selection and use of food ingredients.
