Penumbra Engine Clot Removal System is the brand’s third generation vacuum pump system used to perform life-saving revascularization surgeries. For the first time, blood clots are suctioned from blood vessels through clear tubing and deposited onto integrated screens to be inspected by doctors. Perfectly positioned diffuse panels project LED light directly onto the screen to illuminate the operation process, and are perfect for a dimly-lit operating room environment. The device’s compact and portable design is simple to operate. A wide and contoured handle on the back makes it extremely portable and is positioned at the center of gravity to ensure the device doesn't swing during carry. An adapter plate was also designed to lock into the bottom of the pump for an optional IV pole mount. The device provides perfect vacuum routing, heat management, and weight distribution at the press of a button. This revolutionary design prevents heart attacks, strokes, and neurological damage.
