Aquasis is a seawater desalination kit using the function of seawater battery. This product is designed for the people living near the sea in water shortage countries but having not been able to use it as drinking water. In the process of charging the seawater battery with sunlight, sodium ion is used and as a result, seawater becomes fresh water that is drinkable. People can also use this product as a light at night with a charged battery. In many areas of Africa, notably Guinea-Bissau is experiencing extreme water shortage. If this kit can be universally used, people living near the sea in these areas will be free from water shortage. In addition, by a light with the charged seawater battery people will also be able to obtain a brighter shelter at night.
