It is a sunscreen package design that does not damage coral and marine ecosystem. 'Oxybenzone' and 'Octinoxate,' commonly included in sunscreens, are extremely harmful to coral and marine ecosystems. The amount of sunscreen that flows into the sea each year by people is up to 14,000 tons, and these sunscreens kill the coral. More than 56 percent of the coral in Hawaii's largest island, Big Island, is already dying white. Hawaii recently passed a law banning the use of sunscreens, which include 'Oxybenzone' and 'Octinoxate.' But many people still don't realize that the sunscreen they're using destroys coral and marine ecosystems. Thus, the need for a package of sunscreens to make many people aware of the effects of deadly sunscreens on the marine ecosystem and to give them an interest in sunscreens that can preserve the beauty of the marine ecosystem. The goal of this project is to have a positive effect on the marine ecosystem using cosmetics produced by companies. The company gains positive image through environmentally friendly marketing strategies and provides practical environmental protection measures.
