DARI, which means bridge in Korean, is likened to place of exchange and meeting. Design the connection between human and nature. We thought that the most important role of human connection was communication, and we aimed at design that connects human beings with nature. birds and public phones were once used as a means of communication. But as time went by and technology developed, they gradually got lost. public phones became unused or dead space, and birds lost their lives in the city. we think the telephone booth could be a space where birds and humans can coexistence and communion. For abandoned material and forgotten space, particle board is efficient and economical in that it recycles wasted wood form the processing of logs and can compensate for the disadvantages of logs. particle board is finished with veneer, so it can be more familiar to birds than plastic or metal things. the walls of the booth are designed with transparent polycarbonate material to give users experience of communicating with nature by seeing the birds inside out.
