Scuba: Limits and Improvements is infographic design with suggestions of new service concept that can help overcome limits of scuba diving. Scuba diving failures happens for many reasons, but in this project, I focus on dive computer. It is a calculator that scores decompression rate of diver which can be a harmful reason if appropriate procedure of lowering the pressure in body is not followed. Despite the importance of dive computer for diver’s health, it sometimes does not function correctly because of its limitation. It does count personal health such as heart rate, ambient temperature, alcohol consumption so it cannot give precise indication of decompressing. Another problem is that it does not have the ability to help divers communicate with colleagues about their health problems. So, I suggest two types of improvement concept. First it to make dive computer count health data in real time and put it in decompression calculating for more precise calculation and helps the diver can respond immediately to their change in physical condition. Second is to alert dive buddy if there is severe problem to their colleagues’ condition. It can make the respond to emergency accident faster and be able to achieve safer diving experience.
