These LED-lit sculptural light poles illuminate the two levels of circulatory roadways at the arrival and departure levels at the Los Angeles International Airport. Custom-fabricated for LAX, the white 41FT tall poles are part of a multi-phased design project to update the airport’s outdated infrastructure and offer a cohesive aesthetic experience. Their formal qualities derive from the airport’s centrally located 1960’s Theme Building. Upon completion, 91 light poles will replace the preexisting high-pressure sodium fixtures.
