SMELT was designed to solve safety issues and reduce time. This iron is formed in the shape of inserting the wax into the iron, and with a chargeable doc with no wires. Ski waxing takes a lot of time. The process of ironing takes much time and can be inconvenient. Moreover, ski waxing could be dangerous. Melting the wax to the hot surface, there is a high chance of getting burnt. When the wax gets small, and while melting it, people would get a high chance of getting burnt. Also, the long and short wires might get in the way while waxing and cause inconvenience. Therefore, this ski iron reduces time, inconvenience and safety issues by inserting the wax into the iron, and removing wires.
