The design was inspired by my own experience of not changing my toothbrush in time and suffering from oral diseases. The doctor told me after I was treated that if the toothbrush has not been replaced for more than 90 days, the toothbrush would have a host of bacteria and viruses, so I need to change the toothbrush head in time to protect oral health. And after I came home, I researched toothbrushes on the market and found that the existing toothbrushes were not obvious enough to remind users to change their toothbrushes in time. We started the design work to more visibly remind users to change their brush heads. firstly, we use faded bristles material which change color over time. Secondly, viruses and bacteria commonly found in toothbrushes are extracted to shape the bristles. Through this design, users can "see" the "numbers of bacteria and viruses" on the toothbrush, so that they can judge whether they need to replace the toothbrush head, develop good hygiene habits, and maintain oral health.
