Environmental pollution is a major problem around the world. There are various causes of environmental pollution, but waste disposal and separate collection are common issues we deal with around us. Unlike plastic and paper, which are often problematic, batteries are not mainly handled, so our team developed a product that can properly dispose of waste batteries. Batteries also cause environmental pollution if they are randomly thrown away, and are even harmful to the human body. So the item we developed is BATREE. BATREE is a waste batteries collection bin for environment. We design it for visibility and to engage people. And, through the main function of BATREE which is the battery voltage measurement and classification system, the reuse of waste batteries is encouraged and waste is prevented. In addition, by combining BATREE with various promotions, BATREE is advertised and used. Therefore, our goal is to take one step closer to environmental protection by increasing the use of BATREE and to participate for a cleaner earth.
