Emergency accidents that take place everyday lead to a significant number of deaths, and children take up the greatest ratio of victims of these accidents. School age children are curious and have insufficient awareness of how to handle dangerous situations, which makes them vulnerable to being exposed to unexpected accidents. Making matters worse, Korean elementary schools’ student training for emergency response is grossly inadequate. Our team proposes an app for emergency response training for school age children, parents, and teachers. This app helps train its users to carry out appropriate emergency responses through repeated and very realistic situational training. The app’s major functions are the ‘Emergency Dictionary’, ‘Games’, and ‘VR Experience’.
