"The Rise of Phoenix" is divided into "Heaven Chapter" and "Earth Chapter.” By using the projection feature of “Flying Sky Screen” to create a fantasy world, the Heaven Chapter at Central Park Station uses the story of phoenix spreading its wings to draw out Kaohsiung’s elements from different aspects. "Flying Sky Screen" is located in the center of Kaohsiung City. It was designed by the British architect Richard George Rogers. With a white oversized canopy roof and yellow pillars, it brings up an image of "Flying". This white canopy creates a stylish atmosphere and structural beauty for Central Park Station. The Earth Chapter is located at Formosa Boulevard Station, which ranks the second among the most beautiful stations in the world. The famous "Dome of Light" was hand-painted by the famous international artist Narcissus Quagliata and made by the German Handmade Glass Art Workshop. Four elements of water, earth, light and fire along with the bronze sculptures of the four scared beasts, of the landmark “Dorm of Light,” at Formosa Boulevard Station, was taken as the extended concept for the Earth Chapter of “The Rise of Phoenix.” The interactive projections are carried out on the ground with the public.
