Garbage that is carelessly thrown away causes marine pollution. Since the start of the pandemic, non-face-to-face consumption such as online shopping and food delivery sharply increased, causing a surge in the amount of single-use waste. As a result, plastic waste overflowed and were indiscriminately thrown away. The number of masks and disposable plastic gloves thrown away around the world everyday is astonishing. The Blue Planet consists of three main elements: physical facilities, a digital platform, and holistic recycling education. Children and teenagers will be educated about the causes and countermeasures of climate change at the Blue Planet facilities. By learning about the importance of ‘Reuse Reduce Recycle’ and directly engaging in related activities, participants will realize that the process is easy and enjoyable. The course takes the form of performing the mission delivered through the app, and when participants complete the mission, they are rewarded appropriately. If there are any difficulties or shortcomings during the mission, feedbacks can be sent through the app for future improvements.
