This is a a hotel renewal project. Unlike many designers to pull down the hotel in renewal, the designer, to create over 100 guestrooms in a limited floorage, restructures the old civil works and reuses many doors, furniture, lamps and furnishings of the original guestrooms.With historical marks preserved, both public spaces and guestrooms are designed with contemporary design techniques. In the lobby, irregular geometric shapes and splendid colors, jagged backdrop behind the reception desk, together with modern lighting design, makes the whole space fashionable and dynamic. The dining room is decorated with geometric lamps and Scandinavian dining tables and chairs, which brings life back to the minimalism. Comfortable guestroom represents the quality of the hotel. In Mercure Hotel, the guestrooms are simple yet grand in design. The wood flooring and wall cabinet produce a soft and graceful space, the match of white and brown is concise in effect, and the lighting connects all the dynamic elements in the room. In the LOFT suite, the vertical space is fully employed to control costs while meeting the diverse guest demand for staying.
