Most front-load washing machines follow the same convention of a white box with a round glass door and puzzling controls. We felt it was time to challenge these conventions by offering fresh and emotionally exciting solutions that would jolt our perception of what a washing machine could look like. This concept features a smaller machine enclosure, but with a bigger drum that is more spacious for clothes, more efficient, and more accessible for the user. The washing machine’s form, colors, detergent door, controls, and drum interior have all been rethought with this design. Its unique post-modern design is fresh, which to us seemed quite appropriate for laundry. Some product categories need a fresh jolt of new thinking, that’s why we submit to Spark.
