The HP DesignJet Z6 and Z9+ Pro Printers are commercial inkjet technology-based large format (LF) printers. The Z9+ model is designed for professional print service providers (PSPs) who typically offer customers high-end retail signage, photo reproductions, and fine art reproductions. The Z6 model was designed with Geographic Information System (GIS) analysts in mind, who typically provide their customers satellite imagery, GIS/CAD drawings, and presentation maps. The new HP DesignJet Z Pro series printers provide for larger sized prints, accepting print media rolls up to 64 inches wide. The HP DesignJet Z Pro series printers benefit from the new front-to-front architecture form factor design and provide enhanced efficiency with the fastest media handling and spindle-less automatic roll feed. The Z6 prints twice as fast on plain paper at the same quality while the Z9+ allows users to print up to 18% faster with better quality on satin photo media, and 46% faster on canvas.
