Do you remember the word neighborhood family? In the past, neighbors were as close as families. How can we naturally reconnect with these neighbors? That’s the reason why I started this project. Through the Korean transaction platform ‘danggeun market’, where neighbors and neighbors meet to have a transaction and adding some additional programs I could make people do transactions, talk, and expand relationships. So, I propose "Reconnecting the Neighborhood," by "Under the Carrot Tree," a space project that reconnects broken neighborhoods. There are two types of places, first is installed in the city with a subway. The second type of place is set up in the city without a subway. From this type of project, all cities can be reconnected between neighborhoods. 'The Under the carrot's tree' Trading Place consists of a space with 3 programs. In a safe trading space through a bright, open space, it will approach your neighbors as a place to have coffee with a simple conversation. The overall material of the space consists of warm-feeling materials that match the identity of the Danggeun market and the surrounding mood.
