The main features of the MIPRO MM–590 is that users can apply two different interchangeable capsules to adapt to different situations. Since the MM-59 dynamic microphone capsule employs magnetic principle with a voice coil attached to a diaphragm to vibrate and generate the electrical signal, its multi anti-pop grill protects against external impact. Thus, its superb directionality, feedback suppression, wide dynamic range and low distortion character features are ideal for outdoor stage. Besides, because it requires less equipment, a dynamic microphone is often the best choice for non-professionals. In comparison, the MM-90 condenser microphone capsule employs electrically-charged diaphragm principle with ultra-thin diaphragm to vibrate, converting it into an electrical signal. Since its supercardioid directionality limits feedback and the microphone sustains high SPL without distortion, its superior sound quality is ideal for excellent acoustic performance, which works well for percussion and brass instruments with detailed transparency or recording. Without extra rendering and after effects, the condenser microphone can present the sound as its purest form.
