When we place the sidewalks on top of the habitats of small animals, we forget that they are invading their habitats. Snails, red crabs, earthworms, and insects unknowingly cross the road and die a tragic death under human feet. Frogs from the north, bloodthirsty, and silk snails are representative. Numerous female red crabs die every year on Christmas Island in Australia. These deaths have a significant impact on the population. Safe blocks are designed to protect small animals from humans. When pavementing sidewalks over existing habitats, safe block bricks are laid to reduce the number of animals that are trampled to death without knowing that humans are passing by in their habitats. A safety block makes a passageway for small animals inside a brick. It protects animals from flooding with drains and jaws used in times of flooding. The angle of the fence guides small animals through the bricks. In addition, it is a brick made of discarded mussel shells and has eco-friendly, robustness, and permeability.
