Hybrid VRF is a cutting-edge two-pipe VRF zoning system designed to use water instead of refrigerant in indoor spaces. Hybrid VRF uses a Hybrid Branch Circuit (HBC) Controller to provide heat recovery for simultaneous heating and cooling while keeping indoor piping refrigerant-free. Featuring compatibility with standard and high-efficiency CITY MULTIĀ® N-Generation outdoor units and L-Generation water-source units and the ability to scale with the use of Sub-HBC Controllers, Hybrid VRF gives the industry a flexible all-electric heat pump solution. Hybrid VRF can be tailored to fit various applications with specific zoning requirements, such as hotels, office buildings, multi-family buildings, schools, dorms and senior living facilities.
