Existing adoption centers lack the process of communicating and forming rapport with potential dogs abandoned by humans. In order to respond to the problem of increasing neglect of dogs through architecture, it is intended to serve as a kind of community center by including rescue dogs in the user journey map and enhancing the spatial experience. Through three stages of architectural experience, it was intended to prepare citizens as potential companion animal owners through natural communication and indirect experiences with potential companion dogs. Potential pet owners can indirectly experience people who live with their dogs at the community center, so they can understand the dog culture and acquire the cultural literacy to adopt a dog. The narrative of the adoption center is symbolically expressed through the house-shaped façade, and it is also applied to the interior architecture so that users can recognize it.
